Gavn Software ist ein Beratungsunternehmen für KI und Software-Engineering etwas außerhalb von Kopenhagen, Dänemark. Wir integrieren KI in Systeme, auf die Menschen bereits angewiesen sind. Wir sind in erster Linie Ingenieure. Die meisten KI-Projekte scheitern an der Grundlage und nicht am Modell, daher muss KI eine einfachere Lösung schlagen, bevor wir sie einsetzen. Manchmal ist das nicht der Fall, und das sagen wir auch. Es gibt drei Möglichkeiten, mit uns zusammenzuarbeiten. Eine zweiwöchige KI-Bereitschaftsbewertung, die Ihre Systeme und Arbeitsabläufe untersucht und einen priorisierten, kostenkalkulierten Plan liefert. Praktische KI-Workshops, die auf der eigenen Codebasis und dem eigenen Backlog Ihrer Entwickler durchgeführt werden, sodass diese die Werkzeuge bei der echten Arbeit anwenden können. Und End-to-End-Entwicklung, von der technischen Spezifikation bis zum täglichen Betrieb. Wir bauen Agenten in Produktionssoftware mit Tool-Nutzung, Retrieval, Guardrails und einem Evaluations-Harness. Wir trainieren kundenspezifische Modelle für Prognosen, Dokumentenklassifizierung und Anomalieerkennung. Und wir bauen die zugrunde liegende Infrastruktur in Python, Rust, .NET und Azure. GDPR-, EU-Datenresidenz- und AI-Act-Verpflichtungen werden von Anfang an in die Architektur integriert und nicht erst zum Zeitpunkt der Überprüfung hinzugefügt. Aktuelle Arbeit: Ein KI-Agent in PDC StaffPlan, basierend auf 20.000 Seiten Dokumentation. Vier Monate von der Spezifikation bis zur Produktion, jetzt auf sieben Produkten für mehr als 10.000 Benutzer im Einsatz. Sie sprechen direkt mit dem Ingenieur, der Ihr System entwirft und baut. Beide Gründer haben einen MSc in Computer Science and Engineering von der DTU und halten dort Gastvorlesungen.

We are software engineers first. Most AI projects fail on the foundation, not the model, so AI has to beat a simpler solution before we deploy it. Sometimes it doesn't, and we say so. Engagements usually start with a two-week AI Readiness Assessment: we examine your systems and workflows and deliver a prioritized, costed plan. It stands alone, with no obligation to continue with us. From there we build agents inside production software, with tool use, retrieval, guardrails, and an evaluation harness so you can tell when a change made things worse. We also train custom models for forecasting, document and ticket classification, anomaly detection, and queue ranking, chosen to survive production rather than to demo well. Compliance is designed in: EU data residency, GDPR and AI Act obligations mapped onto concrete architecture, and security review covering prompt injection, permissions, and secrets. We built an AI agent into PDC StaffPlan, grounded in 20,000 pages of documentation. Four months from spec to production. It runs across seven products for more than 10,000 users. You talk directly to the engineer designing and building your system. Both founders hold an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering from DTU and guest lecture there. Probably not a fit if you want a proof of concept with no route to production, a chatbot without compliance requirements, or low-code automation.

We design from the failure cases first: what the system has to survive, not what it does when everything works. That comes from building critical flight-planning infrastructure, security operations tooling, and healthcare systems, where "it worked in testing" is not a standard anyone accepts. We question the baseline requirements and strip away complexity aggressively. Fewer moving parts is not a stylistic preference. It is what lets the next engineer maintain the system. We build custom software and APIs in Python, Rust and .NET, on PostgreSQL and React, with the infrastructure underneath: Azure or on-premise, Terraform, CI/CD, environments, scaling, and logging people actually use. GDPR and EU data residency are mapped onto the architecture from the start, not bolted on at review time. Where AI genuinely beats a simpler approach we build that too. Often it doesn't. Recent work: PDC StaffPlan, four months from specification to production, now running across seven products for more than 10,000 users. A small team taking end-to-end responsibility from technical specification to daily operation. You communicate directly with the engineer doing the work. Both founders hold an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering from DTU and guest lecture there. Probably not a fit if you need a proof of concept with no route to production, low-code automation, or a standard SaaS configuration.
