Ownly Digital entwickelt maßgeschneiderte Software, Unternehmenssysteme, mobile Apps und Websites für Unternehmen in Lancashire und im gesamten Vereinigten Königreich. Den meisten Unternehmen, mit denen wir arbeiten, fehlt es nicht an Software. Ihnen fehlt Software, die zu ihnen passt. Eine Tabellenkalkulation, die eigentlich nur eine Person wirklich versteht, ein Abonnement, das den Großteil der Aufgabe erledigt, und Tools, die nicht miteinander kommunizieren können. Die Mitarbeitenden schließen die Lücken – und genau dort gehen Zeit und Geld verloren. Wir beginnen damit, was das Unternehmen erreichen muss, statt mit einer Liste von Funktionen, und entwickeln anschließend die kleinste Lösung, die dies ermöglicht. Jedes Projekt wird vor Beginn der Arbeiten mit einem schriftlich festgelegten Umfang, einem Festpreis und einem Zeitplan angeboten. Wir entwickeln und betreiben außerdem unsere eigenen Softwareprodukte, darunter Apps, die im App Store und bei Google Play verfügbar sind. Daraus stammt ein großer Teil unseres Wissens darüber, wie man ein Produkt auch nach dem Launch erfolgreich am Leben hält.

We have apps live on both the App Store and Google Play, so this covers the parts people forget: store listings, review submissions, signing, release builds and the updates afterwards. We handle the whole job rather than handing over a codebase and wishing you luck. Offline behaviour, push notifications, payments and accounts are designed in from the start. Looking after a site once it is live, so the business is not the one noticing when something breaks. Hosting, updates, backups, security patching, uptime and speed monitoring, and the content changes you would rather not do yourself. Most sites are fine on launch day and then quietly rot. Plugins fall out of date, images pile up, forms stop sending, and nobody finds out until an enquiry goes missing. We watch for that instead of waiting to be told. One monthly fee, a named person to ask, and changes made within an agreed turnaround rather than whenever someone gets round to it.
