The Atticism is a unique PR agency with boutique offices in Australia & The UK. Founded in Sydney in 2012, The Atticism has become the go-to agency for people who are tired of ‘textbook’ PR, and are looking to try something new. We work closely with our local communities, therefore, we are able to help our clients appeal to those who look beyond the commonplace – we reach individuals who respond best to the unconventional and unexpected. We also help our friends move house, lost dogs find their owners and old people with their groceries… but that’s a story for another day. Rather than simply writing and distributing tonnes of boring media releases each month ( which is the easy way out ), we focus on ways to develop genuine, emotional connections between brands, journalists and the public. Why bother, you ask? Well, when it comes to PR, the only way to to connect with your audience and have your brand stand out from the crowd is by forging new and interesting ways to connect with your consumer. No one remembers boring – do you remember year 10 math? Didn’t think so. The Atticism is a registered member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia. The PRIA requires members to continuously build their skill set to maintain a high level of competency throughout their career. This means we’re always looking for ways to better ourselves, learn new skills and to stay on top of the ever-changing PR industry. In recognition of being awesome, The Atticism were finalists in the 2017 Mumbrella ComsCon Awards in Australia for Best PR Employer, and are listed in Anthill Magazine’s Top 100 Coolest Companies in 2018. We have also been featured in “When Other’s Won’t” by Cody Royle (USA), news.com.au, Human Capital Magazine, Sunrise TV and more – but we wont brag ( much ).

PR is very different to advertising and marketing. Where these two methods involve direct-purchase of promotional exposure, PR takes a much more subtle approach, seeking to influence consumers via earned media and editorial content.

We bundle your individual unique offerings into appropriate stories, with the goal of positioning you as a thought or industry leader. Using third-party media endorsements, we bring your offering credibility by presenting your brand without the crude catch of an obvious agenda.

We pitch article ideas and predict trends, we plan events and community involvement, craft intelligent communications campaigns, engage in market or competitor research, write speeches and facilitate networking.

By managing and streamlining your entire brand message, we act as a central hub for all your communication. We avoid ‘bubble-gum PR’ and generic messaging which we believe is counterproductive to presenting a unique angle and a strong storyline.

We go virtual gold panning; sifting through the abundance of information surrounding your brand to identify the angles most valuable to your public relations strategy.
