And attention is the key ingredient for communication. AHOY is a group of design studios in New York, Zurich and Berlin, hatched in 2000 by Connie Koch and Aline Ozkan, German/American and French/Turkish designers and friends with a mutually rewarding passion for design in every form of media.
AHOY specializes in communication with a pleasant wake up call for everyone and everything seeking to make the world a nicer place. We believe that great design needs a great cause, just as any great cause needs great design.

Sixteen years in practice, AHOY has achieved an international reputation for developing award-winning design concepts for clients with an exceptionally high standard of design sophistication. They include festivals, award shows, publishing houses, theatres and galleries, cultural organizations as well as foundations and internationally operating governmental institutions, such as the United Nations, Goethe-Insitut, Japan Society, the Austrian Cultural Forum, the U.S. Consulates of Germany and Switzerland, Bloomberg Philanthropies, PULSE Contemporary Art Fair, Intertextile Shanghai, the AICP Show and Next Awards, the Global Fund to fight Aids, Malaria and Tuberculosis, and the World Health Organization.

A carefully selected network of collaborators, ranging from printers to writers, photographers, illustrators, animators and web developers, ensure that we deliver what we envision, no matter the size of the project. Annually, the 'Vilcek Prize' is given to established leaders in their respective fields, and the 'Vilcek Prize for Creative Promise' is dedicated to lead younger immigrants and their achievements into the spotlight. AHOY had the pleasure to design the identity and related materials for this annual event for many years now. This is our campaign for 2016 highlighting the 25th anniversary of the AICP Show and the tenth year of the Next Awards. Projekt für Messe Frankfurt in der Kleidung & Accessoires Branche für ein B2B Publikum.With over 1,200 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors, Intertextile is one of the largest trade shows in Shanghai, and the biggest fashion textile fair in the world. Taking place bi-annualy, the fair exhibits the latest international products and trends in apparel fabrics and fashion accessories. Messe Frankfurt GmbH invited us to create the key visuals for the advertising campaigns 2016 and 2017, featuring hand-created illustrations inspired by nature and indigenous style.Mit über 1,200 Ausstellern und über 40,000 Besuchern zählt die Intertextile zu den größten Messen in Shanghai. Die Messe findet zweimal im Jahr statt und zeigt die neuesten internationalen Trends und Produkte aus den Bereichen Modestoffe und Asseccoires.
